Good ole miss-iss...My first time in this state. Staying with
a great couple that are studying at Southern Miss. It's a
great place to relax and have no worries. The pine trees
are so tall here and there is plenty of Gumbo to go around.
Bea-u-tiful French Quarter! Can't tell the effects of Katrina
too much from these parts but as I was driving in I could
definitely see the effects. This city just makes you feel
alive! There is such a great energy here!
Bourbon Street!
I walked onto a set...they were filming a new movie called
Waking Madison.
The beginning of my journey is starting off very well. Great to see familiar faces and visit new places. I appreciate all your prayers for safe travels and over my mission.
